Adirondack Style Homes
Adirondack Architecture refers to the rugged architectural style generally associated with the Great Camps within the Adirondack Mountains area in New York. They are generally made of local building materials and sited within an irregular wooded landscape. Elements such as whole split or peeled logs, bark roots and burls along with fieldstone are characteristic of the natural appearance. The McKernon Group has built several of this style and have developed the expertise it takes to create these distinctive homes.
