Since 1987, The McKernon Group has been designing and building residential and custom homes throughout Vermont and Upstate New York. Our portfolio includes a diverse range of architectural styles, from Quintessential New England and Adirondack to Dutch Colonial and Contemporary. Beyond homes, we’ve also designed, built, renovated, and restored barns, bridges, silos, and timber frame structures—both new and historic. Our projects span everything from camps and post & beam homes to vacation properties and year-round residences. These homes are located on mountaintops, lakesides, charming towns, and quiet country roads. A significant portion of our work is for out-of-state clients building or renovating second homes in the region.
