This was an existing summer camp that was owned by a family that had been spending summers in VT for many years. Because of their love for Vermont, they decided they wanted to winterize it and live there full time.  This might have been an easy project, but there was a very imminent deadline.  Their daughter was getting married in the late spring, and she very much wanted to have her wedding at her favorite place, which was this camp.  To make it more challenging, there was frost in the ground, and the foundation would have to be hand dug.  The McKernon Group decided to make this commitment and we met the deadline in spite of adverse conditions.

This involved lifting the house, pouring that new foundation, and setting it back in place. We connected the house to the garage, creating a kitchen,  insulated, installed new windows and doors.  The homeowners were very gracious as we invaded their space in the middle of planning a wedding.
