Cherry Painted Kitchen
This gorgeous 300 square foot kitchen was designed by Adam and built by VERMONT WOODLAND CABINETS in a newly built home. The dining and kitchen area overlook a panoramic view of the valley. Because of the large size of the room and the height of the ceiling, the design incorporated two different woods to make the kitchen feel like individual pieces of furniture. The cabinets are painted and surrounded with stained cherry. Otherwise, the walls could have had a very heavy look in contrast with the openness of the room. The kitchen has the following amenities: Mini bar with a mini refrigerator; Pantry pullouts; Decorative glass cabinets; plenty of storage; two ovens; warming drawer; dishwasher/refrigerator/range top/hood. The special features include granite tops selected by the owner that bring out the colors of the wood and painted cabinets. The glass piece behind the range top is custom made from a Vermont artisan. It has a smooth finish but has the appearance of texture and depth.
